Let’s Zamba in ZAMBALES (PART 1)

Here is our itinerary:

We planned Wednesday so kinailangan namin magread ng magread ng infos about Zambales. First time namin lahat talaga.

Madalian kaming nagpackup after work para makaabot since ung nakalagay sa website ng VL ay 7:30 departure time. Before the day nagpunta na kami to reserve tickets. Unluckily hindi kami nakakuha ng tickets since hindi daw sila tumatanggap ng reservations for IBA ZAMBALES trips. Only VL Pasay accepts reservation for this trip (according to VL inspectors).

Before 6pm nakagather na kami sa VL Cubao (uber eggzoited kami! HAHA). Pagpila namin sa line at pagabot sa dulo sinabi ng cashier na walang siguradong trip for IBA ZAMBALES since Friday (January 7, 2017) yun. She offered us tickets bound to Olongapo and said we can just book trips there going to IBA ZAMBALES.

Hesitated kami since according to blogs it would add another one hour sa aming travel time papuntang IBA and sa website ng VL yung trips ng Olongapo to Iba sa gabi ay 09:00pm at 11:30pm lang. Pero try and try.

So if ever hindi mo magawang makakain bago umalis sa Cubao you can have your late dinner here.

Pwede ka mamili ng between aircon and ordinary. According naman sa konduktor ng bus 24/7 naman yung byahe kaso since cutting trip nga sya madadagdagan talaga ng one hour ung trip mo. Kasama yung waiting time na 30 minutes or more siguro.

Malamig ang hangin since ordinary bus yung sinakyan namin. Lights. They love lights.Which I love too! 🙂

Lights in Dinalupihan

From mismong bababaan may makikita kayong tricycle terminal na naghahatid papuntang Crystal Beach. Since madaling araw na kami nakarating kaya siguro P20 na ung fare namin papunta dun. Infairness, masikip sa trike. Parang 1 1/2 tao lang ang kasya sa loob. Haha.

Once arrived, magcheck-in agad. We are three when we got there (and ended five when we returned. JOKE! haha). We reserve for one pax with tent reservation (P650.00 including entrance fee and P250.00 worth of food and drinks) and two pax with own tent (P550.oo including entrance fee and P250.00 worth food and drinks) There are also available rooms and cottages na magaganda if you dont want to sleep in a tent but they have check-in time ng 2:00pm and check out time na 12:00noon the following day. So if you dont have an unknown time ng pagpunta at alanganin better bring your own tent. Upon check-in, wala naman yung pinareserve namin na tent so better talaga magdala.)

We pitched our tent. First time and learnings to para samin. While pitching kasi we did not consider ung pwesto nya. Pumwesto lang kami sa maluwag. Haha. I suggest pitch your tents near sa trees para kung sakaling tumirik na ang araw hindi na sobrang init.

After buuuin yung tent nagwash up na kami at natulog. Better bring your blankets also kapag January kasi malamig ung sand and weather. END OF DAY 1.
